The National Scientific and Technical Information Center (NSTIC) which is the information arm of Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) has developed a digital repository. The KISR Digital Repository (KDR) is established with a primary goal that involves collection, organization, dissemination and preservation of information and data created by the research projects and activities carried out at KISR.

The ultimate goal of this digital repository is to collect, disseminate and preserve local data and information produced by national or private parties, and have these resources available and accessible to those interested.
